With years of experience of using Hemp, the seed we source is a high quality, consistent product with a very high split rate; unlike many ‘bird food’ hemp seeds on the market. Hemp Seed is a superb loose feed on its own but is also very effective as part of a spod or particle mix. Soak and then boil this seed before use.

    Hemp Seed Properties:

    • Dry: Green/grey shelled, 4mm diameter, hard oval seed
    • Cooked: Black, 4+mm diameter, split shell with white inner (kernel)
    • Excellent loose feed & spod mix base. Great for clearing weedy spots
    • Keeps fish feeding in an area for a prolonged period
    • Very attractive to Carp, Bream, Roach and Tench
    • This particle is best delivered by spod, spomb or boat
    • Boost with: Salt, Liquid Bloodworm Compound, grated Belachan Block or Hemp Oil
    • Natural, omega oil-rich fish attractor, incredibly effective, even in winter
    • When cooked, crunchy shell opens to expose soft, nutty, oily white inner, bursting with attraction

    Preparation Guide:

    1. Soak: Cover in boiling water and leave to soak for 24 hours
    2. Boil: Boil for 30+ minutes or until shell splits
    3. Enhance: Add any enhancers when soaking, then boil in the same water
