    This pack contains the base mix and liquid to make Pacific Tuna hard hookbaits, cork ball pop ups or wafters. It is ideal for making Pacific Tuna hookbaits, using our Cork Ball Pop Up Roller, with their colour & buoyancy adjusted to suit your personal rig presentation.

    Product Description

    Perfected over a 3 year product development program, Pacific Tuna is a deep red, naturally attractive boilie that combines soluble fish, milk and vegetable proteins with powerful natural appetite stimulants to create a superb year round big fish bait that fish simply can’t resist.

    Pack Contents:

    This pack contains 250g of ready to use Hard Hookbait Mix, used to make Pacific Tuna Hard Hookbaits, Cork Ball Pop Ups and Cork Dust Wafters, and 25ml Pacific Tuna Liquid Additive. The ingredients in this pack will make a 2-3 egg mix.

    Pacific Tuna Hard Hookbait Mix Properties:

    • This is a complete, ready to use hookbait mix with bait hardener
    • Makes extra-durable hookbaits that match Pacific Tuna boilies
    • Easy to roll, produces baits that will air dry until rock hard
    • Produces a tough skin on baits that makes them ‘bird-strike proof’
    • Resulting baits can be tied on, needled or drilled
    • Properly dried baits will stay hard for at least 24 hours in water

    Making Pacific Tuna Cork Ball Pop Ups:

    1. Mix 1 medium egg + 10ml Pacific Tuna Liquid Additive
    2. Add 100g Pacific Tuna Hard Hookbait Mix
    3. Blend together to create small block of paste
    4. Leave paste in a sealed plastic bag for >30mins
    5. Roll paste around cork balls to create pop ups  
    6. Boil baits for 1 minute+ then leave them to air dry
    7. Dry for 24-72hrs depending on required hardness
    8. Finished baits can be air dried or glugged then frozen

    Making Pacific Tuna Cork Dust Wafters:

    1. Mix 1 medium egg + 10ml Pacific Tuna Liquid Additive
    2. Mix 95g Pacific Tuna Hard Hookbait Mix + 5g Cork Dust
    3. Blend together to create small block of paste
    4. Leave paste in a sealed plastic bag for >30mins
    5. Roll baits to size and shape required
    6. Boil for 1 minute then leave them to air dry
    7. Dry for 24-72hrs depending on required hardness
    8. Finished baits can be air dried or glugged then frozen

    Usage Tip:

    The buoyancy of your Cork Ball Pop Ups can be adjusted by using larger or smaller cork balls and the buoyancy of your Wafters can be adjusted by using more or less Cork Dust.

    Shelf life hookbaits can be made by replacing 20% liquid egg with our Liquid Bait Preservative.
