    Odyssey XXX Base Mix

    This is the boilie base mix used to make Odyssey XXX Freezer Baits, Shelf Life and Paste. To make freezer baits, simply mix 10 medium eggs with 100ml of Odyssey XXX Liquid Additive per kg of base mix, form your paste, roll it into the size and shape required, then boil and dry your baits to complete the rolling process. To make shelf life baits replace 20% liquid egg with liquid preservative.

    Odyssey XXX is an incredibly successful big fish bait that combines low temperature fish meals, milk proteins, yeasts, soluble fish protein, Betaine & an incredible 10% Green Lipped Mussel Extract to produce ‘XXX’ – a potent natural bait that big carp just can’t resist.

    This is the ready to use Base Mix used to make Odyssey XXX Freezer Baits, Shelf Life Baits or Paste.

    How to make Odyssey XXX Freezer Baits:

    1. Take 1kg Odyssey XXX Base Mix
    2. Take 100ml Odyssey XXX Liquid Additive
    3. Mix 100ml liquid with 10 medium eggs  
    4. Add Odyssey XXX Base Mix to form a firm paste
    5. Add more egg or base mix if too wet or dry
    6. Roll your baits and allow to stand for at least 30 mins
    7. Boil your baits (15mm: 90 secs, 18mm: 120 secs) 
    8. Leave your baits to dry for 12 hours+
    9. Freeze your baits and use as required

    Usage Tip:

    Shelf life baits can be made by replacing 20% liquid egg with Liquid Bait Preservative.
