    This high-quality 3-5mm particle makes an outstanding loose feed that can be used alone or in a particle or spod mix. Tares need to be soaked for 24hours before being boiled for 20-30 minutes prior to use. They are excellent with Hemp and Buck Wheat.

    Tares Properties:

    • Dry: Red/brown hemp-sized pea. Hard, oval, 3-5mm diameter
    • Cooked: Dark brown, 4-6mm diameter, squeezable but firm
    • Heavy, starch, sugar & protein-supplying particle. Also known as ‘vetches’
    • When cooked, skin softens and inner becomes soft and more digestible 
    • Superb carpet feed when used with Hemp & Buck Wheat
    • Very cost-effective mass loose feed. Low in oil, excellent in cold water
    • Keeps fish feeding in an area for a prolonged period
    • Very attractive to Carp, Bream, Roach and Tench
    • Best delivered by spod, spomb or boat 
    • Boost with: Amino Blend 365, Minamino or sweet flavours

    Preparation Guide:

    1. Soak: Cover in boiling water and leave to soak for 24 hours
    2. Boil: Boil for 20-30 minutes or until they soften and become squeezable
    3. Enhance: Add any enhancers when soaking, then boil in the same water

    This product should be stored cool, dry and out of direct sunlight.
