BELACHAN PASTE BLOCK   TEMPORARILY OUT OF STOCK

For a number of years many very accomplished anglers have used Belachan with devastating results and have not been keen for others to find one of the main reasons behind their success.

Belachan, the Asian name for a specific type of fermented shrimp paste, is a salty, strong smelling block that is used to create deep flavours in Malaysian dishes... and carp are practically addicted to it!

It comes in a solid block form and can be crumbled into almost any bait item. It is an exceptional attractor when used with pellets or particles or in boilie, method, spod or stick mixes. To use this product we suggest the block is grated using a fine cheese grater and is included at up to 75g/kg dry mix in either of the above bait forms. In boilie mixes, best results are achieved by adding the grated Belachan into the liquid egg and then being left for 10-15 minutes prior to mixing/rolling.
 

BELACHAN POWDER

As such an incredible fish attractor, it was always our intention to source this powdered version which is more user friendly for inclusion in base mixes, stick mixes, ground baits and other bait applications. With a significantly higher dry matter content than the block, it also has a stronger aroma and taste and can therefore be used at a lower inclusion rate in order to provide the same level of attraction.

Where 7.5% - 10% is often recommended as an inclusion level for the grated block, the powder delivers a powerful attraction profile to any bait at an inclusion of 5% (50g/kg)
 

BOOSTED BELACHAN PELLETS

Proving to be one of the most effective fish catching pellets on the market, these 3mm pellets are made using natural, concentrated Belachan powder and a number of other superb fish catching products. Highly soluble and designed to breakdown quickly, these pellets leak off a stream of powerful attractors in even the coldest temperatures and are therefore ideal for year-round use. With a deep grey colour, Boosted Belachan Pellets have also proven to be a real edge when fished in similarly coloured areas of silt.

This enables you to apply it to pellets, particles, boilies, hookbaits, stick mixes to give baits an incredible boost of attraction.
 

BOOSTED BELACHAN HOOKBAITS

These 12 x 16mm critically balanced pellet-shaped hookbaits are packed with Belachan, the highly attractive Malaysian fermented shrimp product. Designed to be fished with either our Boosted Belachan Pellets or Belachan Stick Mix common attractors in each product ensure that the loose feed ideally compliments the hookbait and vice versa. Dark in colour and made from a base of pop-up mix, these hookbaits can also be trimmed or shaped to meet personal requirements
 

BELACHAN STICK MIX

This highly attractive stick mix has been cleverly colour-matched with silt, therefore minimising the chance of carp spooking off the baited patch where the mix lies. With a naturally deep aroma and highly soluble, shellfish-rich properties, Belachan Stick Mix creates a highly soluble, potent, micro-particle cloud that draws fish in from distance as the attractors flow easily through water of all temperatures.
